poly petition

Recently, I got surprise when I checked my mail. Surprisingly, I had quite a lot of mail compared to usual. Then it turned out is all the rubbish petition letter. Send out by poly student. What's the point of sending to me. I hope concession pass can soar to 100 plus every month. Ya I am evil.

Why? Because all concession holders all very hao lian loh.

"I don't wan to take MRT leh. Cause I got bus concession."

They thought they can travel like no body business. They can change 4 bus in one journey, and even take one bus stop just to avoid walking a short distance. Concession pass is only going to boost our obesity rate lah.

Student so what. No money so what. My problem? No. It's your problem. Don't send out the petition to me ( a motor rider )!! You making your problem becoming my problem. Anyway, 5 years ago, there was already the same petition circulating around already. Conclusion, SMRT said that they will revise their price. But till now there isn't any updates.

So we Singaporean only know how to submit petition lah. Go strike lah. Like Thailand like that. Ask all poly student to block the MRT entrance don't let those commuter in, then the SMRT got no more money to earn. Maybe can threaten them to revise the price of concession. Haha..
Things to happy about.

Yes.. I got into the interview of IAP.. If successful I will be going oversea and fuck the fucking boring school life.

Second thing to be happy about. Fallout 3 had been released on 28th Oct. But its only the PS3 version. But that signify that the PC version will be out really really soon. Hmm.. If my lappie couldn't meet the spec. I am going to buy a new desktop.

Things to be sad about.

Speak with Impact presentation 2. I fucked it up. Due to nervousness, I pulsed damn long. Eh here eh there. GG. Judging by the number of tick there and comparing to some better student. Teacher gave 3 ticks for better student and so on. If what I interpret is correct. I should had got grade A for 1st round and grade B for second round.

3 day breaks are up. I completed 20% of Fallout 2. Yes that's the 4th time I am playing it.

Dragon Boating Event

WELL WELL... sorry but the lack of updates. I decided to keep them short and sweet.. Recently I really have no time to update and do my blog nice nice. Everyday return home so late. Check email lah, read news lah ( yes i read news ), do some research lah, often have not much time left already.

Yesterday, anther society event. Dragon Boat. Our first time organizing for society. Benson is the overall in charge for this event lah. Personally I think he did a great job. I think the boating event is better organize than my roller blading event. :(

Anyway ne mind ne mind.. I will try harder the next time.. So now.. some visual presentation.

After event, we went to celebrate Cheena's birthday, chat and played truth and dare. Its funny to find out how many time a guy DIY at night. Haha.. talked about sex fantasy. Ok

Eh, sorry for the short update... Really I need more time in one day. I am really too busy slacking at home ;P
Should selling of human’s organ be legalized? Currently, selling organ for money is banned around the world. Only donation is allowed. But who would be willing to live with a single kidney out of the sake of good will? Not likely. Most of the case, only deceased person may consider that.

In United States, they already have markets for donation of blood, semen, human eggs and surrogate wombs. Should we consider extending markets to donate or sell non-vital human organs such as kidneys and livers? Please be informed that we are having more than 75,000 people on the waiting list for organ transplant. Many doctors have the know-how to cure a dying patient but they just don’t have enough donated organs to make it possible. With the acceptance of organ transplantation, thousands of life can be saved.

On the other hand, if selling of organ is legalized. There will be problem arising also. There will likely be situation of exploiting the poor by the rich people. As rich and healthy person are unlikely to sell their organ. Therefore only the poor are likely to sell it because of desperation.

In addition to that, if organs were to be treated as commodity and sell it like a car/property, does that mean that when a person becomes bankrupt, would their organs be considered in their final evaluation of their total assets?

However, under very narrow circumstances, we should consider methods like, organ trading with family members or kin. Example trading a kidney with a bone narrow transplant. Although this type of trade is also prohibited, it may be a very reasonable exception.

That's my write up for my IS modules. Speaking with impact. I am going to present in front of class for more than 1 minute discussion on any issue that we reckon can arouse people interest. Sibei Impactful right...

I saw this poll somewhere on Asiaone.com and surprisingly it almost very much representing my personal view. Out of the 4 University in Singapore, I always wanted to get into NTU. But look at the percentage of chio bu, pathetically 2.6% nia.

Okie, second week, I am already feeling the pressure of the school assignment liao. They starts coming in one by one. My assignment commitment level had surged to a new level. I thinking if I am really turning into a perfectionist?

Hmm, not a very good thing. I always had this bad attribute. I am so afraid of losing that I don't even bothers to try. That had turned me into a kind of person that unless I know I will win, I will not even try. Failure is part of life and I think everyone must learn to treat failure positively. Ya I know but I just prefered the feeling of giving up over the feeling of losing.

Today, I found another person who give credence on my view that friend is just a term to describe two individual, mutually making use of one another. Mrs Lee LJ today perfectly helped me to explain it. I wasn't good with my words, so when I say it, I sounds really very cruel. But typically, they mean the same thing. Mrs Lee says, you will realize that you had no friends left when the day that you becomes useless. She further elaborated that people finds you to be a good friend because you are a good listener, you are kind, helpful and etc. So in this way, you sort of becoming "useful" to that person. If one day, you are no longer fun loving, you turned cruel or you not longer entertaining. Your friends will leaves you. So perfectly true isn't it. So am I saying that there are not forever friends? Of course not!!! Just make sure that you are constantly providing your usefulness to one another.

engineering grad in demand : Results from the latest survey by the polytechnics on employment outcomes show that fresh engineering diploma graduates earn about $1,930 on average, with those who have completed National Service earning about $2,220.
I love my IS. "Speaking with impact". The lesson structure basically is to do presentation every week. So cool. Some more the teacher Alicia Lee is very good. Keep giving encouragement and positive feedback. She also teaches us some useful tips on presenting.

I would like to intro my IS mate. Aron. He is as strange as the L in the death note. Looks very introvert and quiet. Don't like to interact with people. But soon I realize why he is like that. He should remain quiet seriusly

We were suppose to do a elevator pitch. Like you meet your very potential boss or client, you are to hard sell yourself in the short 2 minutes.

So today presentation, everyone was nervous cause we had to act out. Everyone is trying to improve except for Aron. He really speak with impact. We did a total of 2 time in presenting but I only manage to video his 2nd part. His first part is very power, goes like this:

I can't describe the whole thing lah. But I remember that he end of his presentation with a quote:

Aron "As what Spiderman's grandfather had said, with great power comes with great responsibility."

Second time he presented another version. He say that he should be chosen as the candidate for the oversea training programme because all the rest of the applicant looks like a dick. I mean he say that in front of teacher. The teacher almost stopped the whole presentation, but he insisted on finishing his whole presentation.

Really take my hat off.. I did video it down. But the voice seem to be too soft liao.

Job recruitment will be out on Strait Time on Monday.

I would consider to persuade my mother to go and try out. She just got retrenched from her last job. Her current job is like totally siao one. Made her work from 9am to 11pm daily. 14 fucking hours a day. It really heart wrenching for me to see her work till so late lah. For her whole life she had been tied down to her job scope. She knew nothing other than what is required at her field. This may be the chance for her to change to a better job.

Eh.. nothing to do.. so just more updates..

Hmm, most of my friend posted our class photo.. so there's mine..
I realized this semester, a lot of changes from my classmate. All like suddenly, overnight change of dress sense and appearance.. Liqiang so shocking la, got a very trendy hair cut with highlight...

Some people say I looks younger this semester :)
So happy
Then Shihao keep trying his camera trick... Trying to capture vengeful spirit on his camera.
Finally he got one that looks acceptable.

And if you all never noticed, I got a hairless leg. Looks so smooth and silky right. You know, hairless is cool. You don't have wet legs when you perspire. All those hair gonna restrict your sweat from evaporating..

I so proud of my hairless leg.. But don't relate that I am a hairless person okie.. My hair grew concentrated at the right spot okie...

Electronic Cigarette for quitting smoking!!

As I was shouting at the 'honor jump' at OBS that I will be quitting smoking, but the next thing you know, I am smoking.

As a reference I will be telling a bit about my history of smoking. I started at 15 years old and I had a 10 years of smoking experience till date. No many people know that I am actually a chain heavy smoker. I average 15 sticks very day. I attempted to quit smoking mentally, lets see... Okie endless time. Actually, I quit twice before, once 2 weeks the other 2 months. But hooked on again because of mental urge.

So when I thought all hopes are gone, I accidentally came over this article which talking about E-cigg. It's basically stimulate a really cigg
  • tip led up when you inhale
  • nicotine liquid can be refilled
  • sweet aroma instead of smoker's breath
  • vaporize vapor instead of harmful second hand smoke

Introduction to E-cigg
2:00 minutes

No tar, no harmful chemical and definitely no cancer. Good nicotine replacement therapy for smokers who wish to kick the habit.

I gonna get this. It something that I don't need but desperately craving it. Basically smoking out of no smoke, which might help me to turn over a new tobacco leaf.

Yeah, I am kind enough to provide a link to purchase it over in Singapore.
Check this ebay seller here. Or purchase online through a malaysia distribuator here

One of the worst thing that can happen to you oversea, is that you lose your way and forget to stomp your passport. Nabei and that happened to me. Li Ping and I went to JB to mai dong xi, chi dong xi, mai dong xi, chi dong xi, zhen de ting bu xia lai.

Although we went OBS together lah, but then our JB trip is equally exciting.

First, the NBCB Singapore custom. New route at woodland check point had blocked my usual route that I always take. They restrict turning in to JB from woodland center except for bus, and motor and car had to detour to BKE/turf club. I took around 1.5 hour before reaching inside JB, somemore kana heavy rain. First suay.

That's the 'wishing pot' from thailand. It is believed that people toss coin into it and rub the 2 handle till the water create a hydraulic jump will have their wishes come true.

I didn't manage to let the water jump up no matter how hard I tried. Li Ping got it. And she was greedy lah. Keep tossing in coin and ask for so many wishes.

Sentosa in the afternoon, we just walked around and saw something like 'lok lok'. But its a lorry selling "zhu chang feng". Very nice lah..

Our whole day Journey covered, Holiday Inn, Pelangi Plaza, Taman Sentosa, city square, then to Taman Sentosa again, then to city square. Haven take into consideration that we lost our way. We almost headed on a highway to Melaka. Second suay.

It was 1am in the morning. We were lost on some highway. I can't really see any prominant building before it was so dark. So I lost my sense of direction so just have to depend on my intinct. We hit on a highway that was so dark, because lack of lamp post bah. I can't see the road 5m ahead of me. I had to travel like super slowly to avoid collidision. Till we see signboard only to realize we almost headed to Melaka. I had a feeling that we were at least 30km away from the custom. We stopped at a petrol kisok to ask for directions.

*some random things happen, we found the way back*

Then finally, we wanna return to Singapore, we head into a road that makes me ride pass malaysia custom and straight back to Singapore. Meaning that when I reach Singapore custom, I realize that I didn't pass Malaysia custom at all. WTF.. The fucking Malaysia road is like totally retard loh. Can just pass the custom like that, I manage to ride through a road right behind the Malaysia custom. NBChee loh. We got daleh back at Singapore custom and make a police report. Third suay.

Okie, enough bitching. Hei Hei, on the brigher notes, we manage to get some good catch for today. I like totally spent all of my 234 rm lah. Proof, just like that. I brought super lots of stuff lah. And city square's shopping mall is like totally rocks man. One full day isn't enough for me.

Okie, I am very excited to intro the famous Sentosa's "lok lok". It a mini van that sell assorted food. You can either dip in the boiling water yourself or ask the uncle to bbq for you. Then you will be charge depending on the colour of your satay stick. Very unique and I never miss to eat lok lok everytime I go Sentosa. Very popluar and crowded, the van. I had once thought of using the concept in Singapore. But you know lah, all the ISO and HACCP standard in Singapore, it never really prove quite pratical.

Last thing to mention, city square shopping center quite there leh. They selling thing quite trendy now. The shop design can 'qie' Singapore 77th street lah. I photoed one quite unique shop in the 'inner city' inside city square.
