zn5 vs n82, who better??

Tonight there will be a fight out between 2 top notch mobile claiming to be pioneer mobile producer. Motorola zn5 vs Nokia N82. Both company were among the first to reproduce handphone years ago.

Accredit to Chin Liping for generously lending her new brought for me to compare between my N82. Her K810i obviously would only try to chase my tail light was now out of the whole picture. Really compare with K810i really no kick.

Before we start off our one on one, I would like to point out that both camera was really really good. Both have their strong points and bad points. zn5 was its unbelievable shutter focus, shot to shot less than 0.5 sec. Shot to shot I mean from time taken to focus to the next shot. N82 was basically good and vibrant color be it day shoot and night shoot but then, focusing to shot to save about 2 - 3 sec. But still very fast if you compare to other model of Nokia.

Marco Shoot with flash fight 15cm


N82 takes very good marco, color was vibrant and sharp through a bit over saturated. Xenon flash was very well spread and picture was not over exposed by its flash.

zn5 marco loss out a little on this field. Although color was natural without much deviant from the actual stuff, but flash was more concentrated at a particular section.

p/s: to take note that the picture object difference in material, one is mat while one is shiny, so you can't really compare as there might be reflection interference.

N82 take total darkness like breeze, it effective lit up a whole bedroom

zn5 flash was a bit too high, it looks like it was taken in the day. Pro and Con depending on your situation. I guess it do a equally well job.

It easy to compare how both these phone handle low light condition by zooming it to 100%. This is the actual size zoomed at 100%. zn5 on the right won by displaying lesser noise to N82 on the left.

Conclusion

For conclusion is that, there still ain't no conclusion. That's no clear cut winner. In term of camera,

I would prefer zn5 for its quick focus but I have to live with its short coming on low light shooting condition, furthermore its battery life was slightly better than n82. Did I mention that its has very very good quality for music play back through earpiece??

N82, 'wan neng shuo ji wang'. Every function on the phone above average but I had to live with its size.

Great Sunday, go to town to look at people. I don't want to keep staying at home like 'zai nan', no life at all. I want to go out and see this beautiful world.

Today went out with Liping to vivo city and I really really appreciate her as a friend, regardless of how random, how expensive and how nonsense my request is, she will always comply to me. This few week I really drain her wallet dry. I keep wanting to go expensive restuarant to relief my urge of eating good food. We had been spending a few ten on every weekend. I really really want to thanks you again again and again, I just don't like people who cannot eat this cannot eat that. Like today we went to a Japanese restuarant to have our lunch. The food was so so but they charged very expensive.

When I see the ice cream so green I want to cry... I feel so hurt, cause it looks like our greeny earth. Melting away like the world is coming to an end. It melting away and as I think of it, I broke down and cry ;P (inside joke)

Went to North point there chill out and catch up, then end up her ride me home on his lamp chop from Yishun to Queenstown. Why should I complain about life when I have these good friend by my side. Me rushing my report for interim last night, I slept like 2:30am and I was so exhausted. While I hope 6:30am can come 4 hours later to make up my 8hrs beauty sleep, someone keep shaking me profusely. Not like your girl friend shaking you up in the morning those, but more of like "HEY WAKE UP!!! FIRE DRILL!!!" type. It's my father.

I got down on my knee, closed my eye, I prayed for him. I pray for all his sin that he did. I pray for all the pain he inflicted on us. I prayed for karma don't summon onto us just because we are one family. I pray to goat to forgive everything he had been doing.

Then I applied 90/10 rules which states that, 10% of your life event is caused by other people which you have no control over it. The other 90% is depending how you react to the sitation. So I decided to 'kan po hong chen'.

btw ever since I started working at Changi, I had been cultivating good habit by reading free give away newspaper like Today and My Paper “Wo Bao”. It provides the channel for me to read latest updates on world issues and also some local journalist who enlightened me with their board perspective. Typically, Today is more for business orientated people and My Paper is more suitable for the young adults. As for me, I am working but at the mean time I am still a student. Therefore I read both.

However, I am utterly disgraced by what they are offering everyday on one particular section.
I am pointing to the section named “my say” somewhere at the middle of the paper. All the unsolicited complain about people smoking outside yellow box, people eating on bus, the toilets not clean, MRT not enough, fare too expensive and the exhausted list goes on and on.

Of course if the complain is logical and seriously need addressing, I okie la. But seem like now these complain kings/queens are focusing on quantity instead quality. All rubbish complains. Like totally disgracing. Life is never fair, haven they realized? Stop complaining and stop poking your nose into everyone’s business. Some more worst, they were remarkably persistent to post their ‘opinion’ into multiple complaining station. Take stomp.com for example where they united as one and start poking each other backside.

Government starting good gracious Singapore campaign, but I think the first step is to knock the idea into these people that over complaining is not gracious at all. Now stopping complaining about our shyness to offer up our seat to elderly, trying to teach people how to be a gracious person, when you aren't one yourself to begin with.

Now go apply the 90/10 rules already.


Today after work, accompany Shan Feng go Vivo there find his wife. Walk abit then eat abit. My N82 still can capture the smoke. Power right?

Book Prize 2009

Something worth celebrating for this week. Attended book prize award for 2nd semester today. However, that will be the last time we receive prize in this kind of setting. The next award should be in graduation ceremony. They will be offering gold medalist and silver medalist to first 2 most outstanding performance of our level. Yes our level. Mean the next path of CEE kick in for the competition. Its hard to score first in class man, a lot of very 'zai' student in my class. Nevertheless, silver medalist is what I am aiming for. It within my reach provided I really had to maintain the grade this year.

Dad borrow my motor

I seriously took my hat off my father. I was reluctant to admit it thro, but I really have to. He is a bastard.

This 2 months, my father had been borrowing my motor on every weekend. Go chee hong some China girl, I reckoned. The very first time he asked me to lend him, I lent it out of good will. As in, father and son mah, don't have to be so calculative. Subsequently, he made it a habit to borrow it every weekend. Be it steal, bride, nag, cheat or even threatening me, consciously or unconsciously.

1. He say he need it, passed me $20 and borrow over weekend, BRIBED!!

2. Asked me to lend, I rejected then he say only for the night, coming home later, in the end, over the weekend. CHEATED!!

3. Took my key while I am sleeping even after my rejection. STOLE!!!

4. Threaten me not to lend me car next time, if I don't lend him (provided he have one at the first place). THREATENED!!!

5. Nagging at me continuously to lend him, I lent just to shut his chee bye mouth. NAGGED!!!

Today, I totally bei ta da bai le. I plotted a revenge on him. I anticipated that he will be coming in to steal my key, I purposely slot it in 1 out of 7 pant and threw them randomly on the floor. I assume he will not be so boliao to find them in my pants.



Morning I wake up, first thing is to check my pant, its gone. You see I used a full stop instead of exclamation mark because I a bit expected he can find the key. So as usual bath then didy tedy a bit, still following "got motor" timing. You know if taking MRT I had to go out 15 minutes later. Because I am so smart that I am going to use my spare key today!!!

Randomly take one helmet, go downstair start engine. Smoking and looking some pretty OL going to work. Then time to start riding to work, to my ultimate horror, my wheel jammed. CAO CHEE BYE!!! He fucking locked my disc brake, TMD. I jitao slam my helmet to the ground. Breaking the visor and head crust altogether. (Spare spare helmet)

I really take my hat off. Next time, when you want to get marry, never be like my cb dad. He always teaches me moral vlaue I couldn't learn elsewhere. Anyway thanks ar. I fucking love you man.

My primary school get together + shisha

Had a small get together with my primary school friends. We haven been seeing each other for 14 years and I really appreciate friendster to provide the robust service for people to reunion with old friends. Last time, we had no pager or handphone so it was really hard to remain in contact with them.

Then after meet up they say want to eat near Sabai. I thought they were saying the coffee shop just beside sabai which sells over priced fried rice. Like $5 for a plate of fried rice, in the end, I found out they want to eat at "DA CHANG JIN". Although I am a spendthrift on entertainment, but I tend to be a bit more conservative on food. I don't go to high grade restaurant to eat. Never. Some more they requested to go the VIP room, crazy can. Good thing is no additional charges.

Flipping the menu on the first page and my throat already drying up. So pricey the food. The first item cost $120. I looked for signal from my friend, I wish that they find it expensive and want to change location, but apparent they were already discussing on what things to eat already. So basically I browse through for the cheapest item $25 is the cheapest. Being a man, you have to put up a show. So I politely asked them to choose while I can eat anything. Meanwhile I already visualizing the worst scenario to get mentally prepared.


We waited patiently for our food, while filling up each other up with our own stories. 14 years are very long and a lot of thing can happen. Soon it started to get boring when they starts to talk about marriage and love and boyfriend. How boring it can be.


Korean food they always serves a lot of appetizer. The "cold plate" got 8 different dishes including the famous kimchi. Personally I don't like korean food.


This plate is nice. I think its 'dong fen'.
They ordered seafood BBQ. Nothing very special about it. If I go sakura, I can easily arrange something nicer with the wide range of food offered in sakura

I cannot understand how the thing work. They waitress came to us with our food and asked if we want to BBQ our food on our own or should she do it for us. I quite confused when they offer the option to BBQ food in front of us. If at the first place we want them to BBQ for us, then we were jolly well asked them to cook the food for us in the kitchen. It just doesn't make sense to me. Soon I found out the reason behind.

Korean BBQ don't use oil and you will get the fish burnt and sticking on the hot plate. If you cook the salmon, then you will get minced salmon as a end product. We BBQ until tulan so we asked the lady to do it for us. Btw, the lady isn't korean, she isn't a Japanese either. See you guessed it correctly. She is from China. No discrimination or whatever, but I felt that China had invaded our society. I see China people anywhere.


Personally, I don't think this restaurant is value of money. Food were just average. Money not very well spent.

After that go Sabai and I am wasted by the end of the night.

The day before go sight seeing with Liping, basically can say around Singapore. We went a lot of place including but not limited to Expo, Changi Newater Visitor Center, Thai restaurant, Golden Mile, Arab Street and suntec. This week really burnt hole in my pocket.


NEWater visitor center at Tanah Merah, there are shuttle bus to send you there, but we walked in because we missed the bus timing. Process like Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis and UV disinfection. I can remember so vivdly because I worked in the fucking NEWater plant. Some more is the pre commissioning period, every valve, every bolt and nut I also know.

We had lunch at Thai restaurant. The minced chicken in Thai source is delicious. Other all so so only.
Then go to Arab street to see see. There were a lot of graffiti on the wall. You get to see a lot of people with camera hoping to capture some nostalgia photo. I took some but lazy to upload.
Shisha smoking and drink Turisk drink. Once in a life time experience. Because I will not try that again. Smoking is bad for your health, some more shisha smoke liao no kick one. But the instrument used were kind of.... Resemble another instrument I used before....
