We just had Ke Wen farewell lunch this week, and this kind of remind me that I am already 6 months old into the company. Then let's see in the picture, there are 2 new members joining us. For the benefit of someone still in her last semester, I shall introduce them here. They are Ma Yan and Liu Tong both from NUS. So envy all people who are studying in NUS now... Sad

My dearest buddy got married today. Well Ho Lilian will now be officially addressed as Mrs Goh. Congrats to Mr/ Mrs Goh, formly known as Dan and Lilian. My feelings are in mixed bag, on one end I was happy to see my best buddy engaged herself to a man, but on the other I felt I lost a sister. A big sister. 

Lilian have always been like a Sister as well as my best friend since like we were 14. A decade had passed, though we aren't so close as compared to school time, but there is always the special connection and the comfortable feeling when we meet up once in a while. She walk me through my teenage phases, and the experience we had, were still vividly clear in my head. Don't bore you with all the details, but all the memories are for us to keep.

I mean not that we are any different after her marriage. We will still be the best of friends and always be with each other when we need each other. So glad we met. 

Just finished "the persue of happiness" movie by will smith. Pretty aspirating show, of a poor dude fighting his life trying to make his end meet. Very emotional and motivating. I highly recommend you to at least google its summary.

Some after thought, i felt my girlfriend was pretty much going through the roughness of life now, just like what willsmith was going through. Last semester yet she is unable to concentrate in her school work, still she had to scrafice time for me. Yet i am not being appreciative, i am being so selfish and self centered. How can she bear up with me all this while? I could long have given up on myself. My poor girl, how can i contribuate to relief her from sorrow and misery? I felt i falling deeper with her, how can i make us a better couple? How can i going to be a more exciting parnter.

I dont wish to take anyone for granted, which i felt i have been all along. My mother, my girlfriend, my friends and many many other people. I dont want to be so goal-less in life. I felt that i am not fighting, didnt even try. Always gives up when i am face with a tough problems. I am pretty useless. I hate to think so negative about myself. Come to think of it, are there anyway to be more positive and involve in my life. I wants to work hard, not solo for myself, others as well.

I can safety tell you, its 10X better than coffee bean's latte.

Hang around much and he will start telling you all the technical stuff about coffee. Temperature, espresso milk proportion, originality of beans and stuff like that. Impressive!!

Nokia N8, Hard format (button combination) tutorial

Many guys here face the "brick" problem after trying to play with FontRouter. So I have to find the way to recover it and at last I found one. (And I have to warn you here that DON'T USE FontRouter ON YOUR N8 OR YOU WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE)

Here is the method to full format and make bricked N8 come alive again:

1) Turn off your phone

2) Hold "Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key" and press power button until your phone shake

3) Wait until screen show properly... and welcome back!!

Problem you face after hard format:

1. Ovi map data lost!!! download it here

2. Ovi Store 2.0 and can't be installed correctly thereafter.

**Hard format remove QT runtime, which was used on Ovi 2.0. You need to go Nokia care to flash it again.

Therefore please do not use the hard button formatting unless you absolutely needs to!!!!!

Nokia N8 HyperX camera mod 30fps, uncompressed hack tutorial

HyperX camera mod, below the changelog:

1. video 864x480 change 25FPS to 30FPS
2. photo quality: high quality change from 85 to 100
3. photo quality: mid quality change from 75 to 85
4. photo quality: low quality change from 60 to 75
5. photo estimate size update to reflect more accurate file size
6. photo capture profiles update, remove 1152x864 profile from low/mid quality, included 4000x2248 and 4000x3000 profile into low/mid quality.

My little N8 Image explained

I am so sick, totally down with a stomach flu. Blame it on the Korean cold noodle I ate last Sunday. This lesson taught me not to act like one "cum some hamnida", no everyone can take their food cold/raw. That's a reason why people invented fire with a flint and a stone. Brighter note, I can take a long 5 day break to rejuvenate myself. Of course, people around me are worried, irritated by my poor health and losing concentration at study. The poor person who is worrying about me, I am sorry to have caused all the negativity. And thanks for chanting "Ah Mi Tou Fu" to hui xiang for me :)

The culprit for my stomach Flu "Korean cold noodle"

Recently we were into beading animal. We spent many hours of time and concentration to do the animal, everyone we put in our heart and soul. There why they are so live like. They are so alive that they BITE. Only the first one we did, sort of failed. We classified it as premature birth, and born with mild deformation. Poor seal... But as we became more experienced, the kitten, piggie, snowman and twitter bird are strong and healthy.





Whao, very long since I last updated. So long that Liping came for 6 weeks attachment at JI and now it was already 4 weeks into her new semester. Time really flies. Life moving on, still hunting aimlessly. When the one day that my life is finally orientated?

I can't be bother to upload "flash in complete darkness" mode. You can very well expect crystal clear, noiseless, motion stopping high speed shutter image. Sharp, crisp and well exposured image from Nokia N8, it should well deserve a ISO 9001 engraved on its anodised high scratch resistance aluminium body.

Post AGM 2010

We had a wonderful post AGM gathering. Thanks Valerie for all the picture as well as organizing such a great party for us. Food was nice and people were even nicer. As the milestone for this year AGM, as usual passing baton from old president to new president. Celestine our new president is a capable and well versed lady whom will leader us through many great events near future.

The party was held somewhere in Novena Square I think. They booked the whole game shop down, which made us felt ultra important and VIPness~ We had about 6 game console station to ourselves, Xbox and Wii. Oh btw the badminton was a great game, I battled with Fendy. Hmmm as usual, suck ball at music section. Guitar hero totally got owned. The game ain't much to tell.

Food couldn't have been better. In fact it was the best I had for since so many so many catering from sembcorp. Salad prawn, deep fried salmon, pepper beef, fruits tarts and the best pink pom pom cha cha in town!!
