Recently, father brought new furniture. We had a 'major' spring cleaning. Shifted some of my furniture and packed my room. Saw a lot of notes laying around. Well, today I am going to discuss some of the mis-concept of beer and some of the health effects of beer drinking.
And I am going to stress that the myth of "beer belly" with beer drinking is false. Beer belly is scientifically proved, associate with over-eating and lack of excise. However the only link I found out between them is "binge drinking". But it can be understood because, if you are saying over limit of consumption cause beer belly. As over eating of bread can also cause obesity. I mean over eating of anything of course can put a few pounces of your body.
"Binge drinking" is described as consumption of 5 glasses of beer in a span of 1-3 hours.

Well, we are an internet security company majoring with anti virus software. Ever heard of PC-cillin? Or are you already using it now :)
I say 'we' because now I am one of these big family. Working for them as a part timer.
My job scope?
Ironically, I hate to work for them. They give us shit job. Making phone call to a thousands of companies randomly and invite them to our "Trend Micro exclusive channel briefing". That is a seminar to share marketing strategy and experience on making full profitable sales on our products. We had a huge data base to call, I highly suspect that they got the contact from people who sign up free service from Trend Micro. That's where they will get so many company name, contact person, phone number and stuff.
I saw their ad on their homepage. About this "worry free" programme. You earn an incentive when you sell their product. So I related that they will promote this programme during the seminar and we are the one who are tasked to call up these people to attend the seminar.
You know the problem now is what kind of reaction you will get when you handle these phone calls. Some of the company I see in the list are from not related fields, like stationary reseller, printer reseller and micro chip reseller. So when you ask them to listen to us talking on strategy to sell anti-virus software, they will get really pissed off. Then we had to listen to their music.
So for the whole 300 companies that I called last 2 days, I only manage to get 7 companies to sign up for the seminar. But doesn't mean that all 7 will attend.
I actually admire these marketing strategy that they use to promote their products, but it is difficult for us to bring across the message and it is really tough to be in our positions. Wouldn't be long for this assignment. Hope to end soon.

-allow any person to be hold up to 30 days with courts approval
and considering that we are going for a trip to Bangkok on 22th Sept. If the situation remains like that, which I think very possible due to the very well organized of the protesters. Our trip would be postponed till next holiday.
If anytime we were to be there on study trip, we could easily be suspected as protesters and locked up to a maximum of 1 month. Or anytime, when we were doing our shopping, the building could be closed and evacuated, or while we were boarding our transports, we could be deny anytime. Media for reporting Singaporean causality may be banned also. Sibei dangerous lah.
Now that majority of Thailand airport had been forced close and electricity and water supply had been cut off in some major areas in Bangkok. Singapore tourism board had given warning not to go Bangkok unless with urgent matters.

Yesterday, when out with Elis, XiangYun, Shihao and 3 year one students to go do a medical check up for OBS. They say we never make appointment so only 3 person can be screened. We let the year one go first. So a wasted trip all the way to AMK. (well, it least I got a complimentary coffee in the polyclinic) still not bad haha.

Whao, finally came back from a 4 days 3 nights camp in school. My first camp that I organized okie. Overall, we learnt a lot from it seriously, although there were a lot rooms for improvement but considering the fact that all of us were first timer pardon us lah okie.
I know I know, you gonna saying, there were hell lots of waiting time, mis-communication within the comm people. No supper indented and stuffs. But don't forget all the laughers and friendship we acquired during the camp. Everyone is here to have fun including all the main comms so therefore we should manify those happy moment and not those unhappy one okie :)
Hey, the pre preparation for the camp is very siong de loh. Travel to Jurong West to buy all our stuff and rush back to do preparation. The girl went into the boys toilet to fill up the water bag for tmr events.

All the wet and dirty games are very nice seriously. If I had to choose the best activities of the camp. These is no doubt the winner lah. Although you will get wet and dirty, but they are damn fun okie. Still got 100 second but NG.. And water bomb matches sia. ALl of us spent a lot of time to prepare okie. Really very very very long time to prepare lah. All material used is to best fit in the situation one. No qin cai use one loh.

Due to some cock up. the night walk wasn't was well turned up as I expected. But I swear our first plan was really very scarely lah. The main com got dry run once and scare the hell out of them lah. But we change to this night walk instead because the month now is very dangerous to play the night walk we planned at first. TOo bad..

You see all the year 1 start to open up and play really had like a team integrity. At these point I really wanna clear the cloud lah. When I use team integrity, people keep saying..

Li Ping's grp really high sia, They do dances and Prillisia even do 6 steps and a freeze. She not bad what. Quite open and enthu leh. I initially thought she was not those enthu type one. As she told me before the camp that she wanna drop up the camp as she think it is very boring.. I persuded her to stay with us and I will give her a memorable camp. I really hope I really did that. Not sure about her. Got to ask her one day.. Maybe during thailand trip..

The year 1 got really bonded and high spirited during night performance. I am so great to see that they started to open up to the rest of the people including us. I really like the performance put up by them. Last time as a participant I didn't get so high also. This year all the 'freshie' are really on the ball. Keep it up..
Early on the 3 year, our communication improved. We manage to cut down all the waiting time. We go set up an hour early, to prevent any time wasted on the year 1 side. So all of them gets to the court after breakfast to have the final event on the telematches.

We did a lot a lot for the butter hill. We recce for places that were suitable for playing. IE: slope that are steep enough. But we found out there is a lot of potential hazards laying around. There is a place that is very suitable for butter hill but then there is a metal reinforcement bar sticking out of the grass. So Guo An and the guy all find ways to cover up the bar. So clever to make use of the soil around them to cover it up. Haha

The year 1 got really bonded and high spirited during night performance. I am so great to see that they started to open up to the rest of the people including us. I really like the performance put up by them. Last time as a participant I didn't get so high also. This year all the 'freshie' are really on the ball. Keep it up..
Early on the 3 year, our communication improved. We manage to cut down all the waiting time. We go set up an hour early, to prevent any time wasted on the year 1 side. So all of them gets to the court after breakfast to have the final event on the telematches.

So happy, that our last minute plan to play dodge ball was a sucess although, the weather played trick with us. We com stay up late in the night to think of the rule and plus testing out and stuff sia. I so scare that the year 1 will not enjoy themselves, heng ar....
