First 2 rare card I got from my first starter pack and deck respectively. Greatly inspired by Lhurgoyf then, and I am extremely proud killing my friends in one hit with average to 30 damages. When we first play our deck tend to contain mostly creatures.

Icy Manipulator is useless in Ice Age version, which compared to Beta which doesn't required tapping of cards...

First day at DE consultant

My first day at DE, disappointed loh. Last time when I was doing environmental job, I hope it was a civil job. Now I gotten a civil job, I hoped that I had stick with environmental job at the first place.

As a drafter, I need to help engineers draw CAD according to their requirement. I thought just some simple drawing like detailing or some cross section. But hell no loh. It was a whole effing site plan like a few blocks and it needs to be detail down to beam and column level. Now all the small little figure were so tiny I just wanted to fall asleep.

Its not easy job. 8 full working hour plus 1 hour break in between. So every day 9 hours and I don't know if this is the kind of job for me. I contemplated to study environment now. I now prefers water treatment over all the beam beam beam. I am so sick of structural stuff now.

It appears that I made a right choice by choosing Sembcorp. Water treatment is like 10 time more exciting than Civil lah.

Then this question suddenly oops into my head.

"Is it better to stay focused? Or better to stay balance?"

I had always a person who likes to put one apple into each basket. I love knowledge that comes in quantities over qualities. From young till now I went for job that gives me maximum exposure to a lot of field like F&B, Sales, Data Entry, etc. However, this leave me half a basket full of everything. I cannot expertise in anything.

Is it then better to stay focus in one particular field and excel in it? But leaving your other knowledge limited?

A tough question

They say its the person and not the camera that makes the picture.

I totally agree. Before we even think about exploring options of aperture or shutter priority, we need to compose a picture properly. A good camera person fully utilize an under rated camera.

Well, I stumble upon some sites which feature some really nice picture taken with the "Silver Surfer" or the "Dark Vader", name after the silver and black version of N82 respectively. I still can't get enough of N82 and yes I am gloating.

Not having a DSLR doesn't give us the excuses of not taking stunning pictures. Lets see some really nice shot submitted by all the N82 community.

Alright, got a little bit of catching up to do on my blog. Sorry to myself, I didn't feel like blogging much recently. Not because nothing to updates but because I had too many show to watch. Survivor, Beauty and the Geek, The Real Huster etc. My tumblr blog will be a place where I note down favorable quotes from all these show. Like keeping me inspired.

Okie, gonna note some of my major happen since last day of examination. Not lining in particular chronological order.

Went around hunting for jobs, and sort of shortlisted by a company which require me to do Auto CAD drawing. At the same time, also went from training at Singapore Pool as a tele operator. I was harder than I thought it was suppose to be. So job wise is much.

Okie, congratulate myself for passing my Dipolma from Civil and Environmental Engineering. Last semester was complete mess up, and I had like prepared for the worst. Turn out, it was better than I anticipated. One less thing to worry about.

Anyhow apply for courses in Uni. Didn't really matters to me. Study or not study, I leave it to fate. Applied for Sembcorp Undergrad scholar and surprise to find that I need to sit for the last interview. Sianzz

Most happening event this month, or probably this year will be; I am in trouble with the law again. D***k *ri*ing. Really unluckly turns of event. Attending court end of the month. Hope judge can give me a lenient punishment. However I did stayed as positive as possible. "Sai Ong fall from the horse, don't know lucky or unlucky"

Attended Elisa farewell party and ate hell lots of food. A very nice place and I am still waiting for Felicia to upload the picture into her FB. So slow one.

All time best movies that you don't want to miss

I am so embarrassed to say that I had just finish watching Armageddon.

Armageddon was produced in 1998 and I watched it in 2010. Well, 12 years late but let me tell you. I was astonished. I can't believe it was made 12 years ago. The effects were so dynamic that it totally put "2010" to shame, and I cried 3 times.

Good movies are hard to come by nowadays. A lot of a time, we were left disappointed with all the so called Blockbuster at the cinema. Seriously, apart from those essential elements like, creditable director, handsome/pretty casts and a good love story, personally I think a great theme song should go along with it. Like "I don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith, sure it will strike the movie's impression deep into our subconsciousness.

Liv Tyler & Ben Affleck

Since I am already talking about Armageddom, might as will I mention Liv Tyler. Whao! People were saying the hottest girl on earth is Megan Fox. Common lah. You should watch Armageddon thriller and see how gorgeous Liv Tyler was. (ya, deliberately uses past tense)

I really wouldn't want to ruin her image so I didn't upload her recent picture. It kind of like no one's appearance can stands the test of time. Especially women.

With a lot of anticipation since the Mexican buffalo wing, level 5. We went back again for more punishment. This time, Weiheng joined in our action. The daredevil mission. Level 10!!

This time, we took a cab in.

We reached there at around 5pm on the Friday evening. Well, I should say its very empty. Only us and another table. Unlike last Sunday night. Click here to read our first attempt on level 5.

While waiting for Ethan who's on the way, we ordered some beer and cheezy fries to go along first. A very nice place to chill out and catch up with friends.

Once Ethan reached, we got the challenge started. Ordered level 10!!

Ethan not someone who enjoyed spicy food. His furthest achievement was level 5 and he stopped. He wanted to sit out of the whole performance and be our camera man for the day.

Level 10 was double spicy than level 5. Its very hot but still bearable. We even offered to trade one level 3 with the next table of girls. I made sure they do, cause I want to see them jumping around in pain. However that did not happen.

After finished level 10, we were not convinced. Is that legendary level 30 really that UNBEARABLE?? With much daring action to both of them, they agreed to try LEVEL 30!!!!!!

Level 30 doesn't look edible. Does it even look like wings???

The "Aftermath"

The spiciness of level 30 is beyond words can describe. Tongue numb is common, its burns your mouth and you felt pain in your jaws all the way to your eardrum. Yes. Your ear can literally feel the chilli. I don't know, something definitely is working on our system. I can't really hear properly, like masking sound surrounding me. Cold sweat rolls from the top of my head. Running nose and stuff.

The best thing is, for the first time of my life. I am like going through pain from laboring a baby. My stomach burns so hard and cramped like as though a trunk run over my stomach inside. I could not hold anymore. Only 2 option left:

• Faint on the spot so I don't feel the pain anymore
• Or puke out the chicken

I just went Merlion mode. Puking everything out including my cheezy fries. That's $50 in total. The puke was like cost me $50.

I wants to be a winner, but well I think I had to really take my hat off Liping. She is the first to finish our challenge. We were awarded certificates of completion level 30 and our name will be up on the challenge board.

I definitely will not go back there, for its Buffalo wing at least.

Singapore hotness Buffalo wing at Seletar

After watching Numbnut where they did a humiliation by eating super hot buffalo wings. From what I can tell, it seems the hotness was unbearable by some people, you would have puke, faint and stuff. Consider myself someone who had a high threshold for spicy food, I was skeptical.

So we hit on the road on a car and venture into a journey to find the hidden gem. Beside famous for its hot wings, it's also famous for its inaccessibility. Located deeply inside seletar airbase.

First timer would get lost easily, so here is the location to get there:

First and foremost, please call for a reservation. Its hell crowded. And drive in Seletar Airbase heading the East Camp direction. There are small little barely noticeable road sign guiding you but still might get lost! Follow the sign till you reach the Singapore Flying Club.

The famous chicken wings comes in levels 0 -10, and they had a hidden level 30! expect to bring a fat wallet as the food is pricey, steak cost $20 plus while half dozen of buffalo wing cost around $20.

The waiting time is roughly 30 -45 minutes

Initially I wanted to order level 10 but the waiter keep emphasizing that anything beyond level 3 is not what normal people can take, yong sheng didn't want to ruin the whole plate of wings so he wanted to try like level 2. Ending up we compromise by ordering level 5.

Well, I must say that the wing is really really spicy. It was quite an torture to finish 2 pieces. The hotness kicks in just as soon as you place the wings into your mouth. And the moment you stop eating, the spicy sensation just amplify in your mouth. It trigger your tear glands and you starts to tears. It was really very very hot, they used Mexican chilli which considered the hotness chilli in the world. Becareful if you are using your hands, cause anything that you touches actually burns.

To me it was bearable and I would definitely come back for level 10 and also for the ambient.

Today RCD was difficult. I managed to finish 20mins earlier, and I didn't bother to check the paper. I used to sit through the very last minute during exam as I want to make sure I could score the highest possible. Check for mistake here and there very spider lidat. But today I just gave up, I submitted early and walk out, I see no point sitting there cause I know I can't do any better already. I came in only 80% prepare. I had to pin point question to study because I don't have much time for revision. I stayed till 4am last night to chiong, really tired.

While walking out, I saw Weiheng drew the detailing for column design and I say "fuck", I forget to do. 8 marks question, I only solved for soil pressure. Really chee bye. I blame my lack of sleep for this stupid mistake. Overall, manageable but can't really score flying color plus project didn't complete.

Now I am burning midnight oil again for WRT. One night for the whole book revision, and fuck I don't even know how to start. The WHOLE BOOK LEH!!! So many tutorial and sample question and I can even have the time to complete the whole esp of S-Factor.

WSH2. Whole book again. And I have less than 6 hours to revision only. Can I really stay focus for these last 6 hours? Do and Die make your choice.

Numbnuts

Yeah finished my APMC. Lady luck with me man, calculation stand around 50% and the rest 50% theory manageable. Just keep my finger cross, and hope the 'A' will come crawling to me.

Heng that I also revised with WeiHeng the night before for our calculation. We started 2pm till 10pm. Straight... Only break in between for food and toilets. Well, he intro me this series of vids called Numbnuts.
