Learn things faster
In school I had a better way to learn my books than my peers. Why I know? Cause they always say I acted as though I didn’t prepare for the exam and then always got the higher grade. (jokingly).
The matter of fact is that I didn’t really study that much secretly or not. But the learning method I had been using which is super effective. Today, I just realise there is a name for it.
FEYNMAN TECHNIQUE
Regardless of subject, if you can use the simplest term, without industrial jargon. Able to explain it to either a 8 yr old child or 80 yr old grandma. Means you had fully understand the subject.
This video also stated 3 more important points like
- Choosing subject that can have external feedback example blogging over running. We will be less likely to give up.
- Pick couple of little projects to complete as practice. You get to slice real world problem.
- Delete chapter in the course you don’t wish to study. This reduce perfectionist syndrome.
